interlinkONE and Grow Socially have announced that they will be exhibiting at the Labelexpo Americas conference in Chicago in Booth 3802.
The event, which is being held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, will take place from September 11th through the 13th.
Labelexpo Americas is one of the largest events for the label, product decoration, web printing, and converting industries.
“We’re thrilled to be exhibiting at Labelexpo this year,” said John Foley Jr., CEO of interlinkONE and Grow Socially. “Printers in the label industry are looking to improve their own marketing efforts and to increase the value that they offer to their customers — and we have software and services to help them do just that.”
Visitors to Booth 3802 will have the chance to see and experience first-hand demonstrations of some of interlinkONE’s latest software enhancements and Grow Socially’s services. This includes:
- QR Code Creation and Tracking: Attendees will have the chance to learn how QR Codes can be used successfully to make labels and packaging interactive. Also, visitors to the booth will see how interlinkONE’s QR Code tracking software enables printers to easily demonstrate where in the world printed materials are being scanned.
- Mobile Website Creation and Hosting: Booth visitors will have the chance to test drive the iFlyMobi mobile website builder application. Jason Pinto, CMO of interlinkONE said “Mobile websites and landing pages are a natural extension of QR Code efforts — service providers that are looking for ways to make money on the growing mobile audience can do this easily by offering solutions that package QR Codes with the mobile website.”
- Website Design and Hosting: Attendees that are looking for ways to spruce up their current website need to go no further than Booth 3802! Grow Socially’s staff will be on hand to demonstrate the variety of packages and services that are offered to printers that need to improve their online marketing efforts.
Labelexpo America attendees will also have the chance to pick up free White Papers at Booth 3802, including the very popular “5 Ways Tag and Label Printing Companies Can Utilize Pinterest“.

When it comes to companies that sure know how to have fun, Rescigno’s Marketing Connections is absolutely proving that they belong on that list.
They are also demonstrating that they have a great knack at finding ways to utilize online marketing tactics to create awareness of their company and services.
The latest example of this comes in the form of the video below.
I enjoyed it tremendously, and I hope you do too:
Yes, they turned Carly Rae Jepsen’s very catch song “Call Me Maybe” into a video that humanizes their brand, promotes their services, and provides a strong “call” to action.
Rescigno’s, my hat’s off to you once again!
I would like to take a quick second to turn the spotlight on a company that we have had the privilege of working with.
The company is Creative Labels of Vermont (CLOV).
CLOV and Online Marketing Success
They recently wrote an inspiring blog post entitled “Creative Labels of VT celebrates 6 months of Social Media“. I loved this blog post for a number of reasons.
For one thing, I think it’s very important for companies to take the time to recognize, acknowledge, and celebrate their successes. I think it’s good for morale and it can inspire employees to continue their hard, productive work.
Also, I enjoyed it because of the fact that we were able to play a role in the process of getting Creative Labels of Vermont on that track. I send my sincere thanks to Dwane Wall for mentioning that in the blog post!
If you have a moment, please head over to their site to read the post.
Are You Feeling Inspired?
After reading the story on CLOV’s blog, you might feel motivated to put your company on the path to online marketing success.
If you are in the tag and label printing industry, then I’d like to encourage you to visit us at the Labelexpo Americas Conference from September 11th through the 13th in Chicago.
We will be exhibiting at Booth 3802.

Jessica Van Sack, Chief Enterprise Reporter at the Boston Herald, reached out to our company for a few thoughts on the world of social networking. Primarily, she wanted to discuss Pinterest and spam.
We are absolutely thrilled that a few of our thoughts where included in the article.

When it comes to the label printing industry, it has become harder than ever for companies to stand out as different from the competition.
Label printers can say that they are the leader in their industry or they have a product that no one else can offer, but in many cases, that may not be true.
It’s Harder Than Ever to Stand Out
A big reason for that is is many companies are now buying the same equipment, paper, inks, plate material and anything else that’s needed for the printing process. As a result, one’s capabilities may no longer be unique from the competitor down the street.
In order to stand out as different and to capture the attention of prospects and customers, label printers need to work on finding a way to promote their services better than their competition.
The Benefits of Online Marketing
Right now, one of the best ways to do that in that industry is by effectively using online marketing.
Call it what you want — Online Brand Enhancement, Online Marketing, Brand Awareness, etc. . . . In the end, it’s marketing!
Even if the channels may be newer, it still comes down to fundamentals — your business will thrive if you effectively market your company, products, and services.
Content and Resources to Help You Grow
Over the next several months leading up to Label Expo, I’ll be posting on a weekly or bi-weekly basis on different ways that Label Printers can build their business with online marketing.
I’ll be writing on different topics such as social media, mobile marketing, social network ad’s and more. If you are a label printer, I truly believe that you will benefit from the content that we are going to share!
So, keep an eye out every week for the The Guide to Online Marketing for Label Printers!
I just wanted to take a quick moment to share a video with you.
This one comes from our CEO John Foley, Jr.!
In this video, John discusses the upcoming NAPL/NPES Executive Briefing Series. We’ve blogged about it a bit here… but in this video, John provides more information about what attendees can expect from these events.
Are you ready to learn how online marketing, including social media, can grow your business? Then we hope to see you at one of the stops on the NAPL/NPES Executive Briefing Series!
Our CEO John Foley, Jr. will be speaking at the 2012 PostNet Thrive Conference on April 19th, 2012.
John will provide an overview of the changing media landscape, and provide ways for printers to still grow their business.
He also took a moment to film this video about his presentation:
We are absolutely thrilled that our company will have role in this event. The folks at PostNet have been taking some great steps to help ensure their franchisees can succeed now and into the future.
John’s presentation continue that pattern. It will contain strategies, plans, and tactics to help printers find even more ways to thrive in this changing world of marketing and communications.
If you will at the conference, make sure to say Hi to John.
If not, you can follow along via the #MileHiThrive hashtag on Twitter!
There is no doubt that marketers everywhere right now are working hard to ensure that their strategies and plans for 2012 are firmed up and ready to rock.
If you are one of those folks, I feel what you’re going through! Most likely you are devouring articles about trends, tactics, tips, and more. You’re looking for ideas and inspiration to help ensure that your plans will be successful.
Well, sometimes inspiration for our marketing efforts comes from places we don’t expect. It might be from an industry that we do not typically associate as being similar to ours.
To help support you in that regard, I wanted to share a presentation that was designed specifically for a group of baseball teams. The content throughout the slides was all presented under the theme of how their teams could use social media, mobile, and print + QR Codes to better reach their prospects and customers.
Here are the slides that were presented. No matter what product or service you may be marketing and selling in 2012, I hope that you find the content helpful!
Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute Inc. (TLMI) is a member-driven association that is dedicated to providing business solutions to its members that enhance prosperity. In 2009, TLMI introduced a program called L.I.F.E. or Label Initiative For the Environment. This program was designed to help their association’s members with finding cost effective ways to reduce their company’s environmental footprint.
During last week’s 2011 TLMI Annual Conference, our CEO John Foley Jr. attended and received a very interesting promotion for the L.I.F.E. program. At check-in, all of the Annual Conference attendees received the L.I.F.E. hotel key card as a celebration and promotion of their label initiative program for the environment.
Creativity is always effective in marketing and provides the target audience with something that is memorable. Every time John keyed into his room, he saw this promotion. We’d like to applaud TLMI for an amazing conference and for providing such a creative and innovative promotion for their environmentally-friendly program.
Full disclosure TLMI is a Grow Socially customer.
