In the latest installment of Meet the Team Friday, we will be getting to know Graham Spector, an online marketing strategist and analyst for Grow Socially and interlinkONE.
Coca-Cola’s formula. KFC’s recipe. Ford’s Model T.
You just can’t beat an original.
Here at 21 Concord Street, Graham Spector is an original. He was the first full-time employee to be hired for Grow Socially, the online marketing agency connected to interlinkONE.
Back in April of 2010, Graham got his start with multi-channel marketing, something he always had an interest in. “I was doing data entry for a financial firm at the time,” says Graham. “I followed John (Foley) on Twitter, and he was one of the only people really on it at the time. I thought the idea of social media for business that he was really preaching was interesting.”
Graham was working for a small record label in 2008, where he said he dabbled in what was still called “new media.” “I took a real vested interest in social media,” said Graham, a 2008 graduate of Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts. “I latched on to what John was saying, advertising on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter… it really fascinated me.”
As you can imagine, this translated to his current position as an online marketing strategist and analyst. “I plan, manage and execute social media strategies for several businesses, says Graham, a native of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. “I write their social media marketing plans, determine what the goals of the business is going to be for a 16 month commitment and determine how we are going to meet those goals.”
A current resident of Somerville, Graham has a strong interest in pop culture, and even goes as far as calling himself a “full time nerd” in his Twitter biography. He also is an admitted concert junkie. “I am not satisfied unless I go to a few a month,” he says.
While Queens of the Stone Age are his favorite band, he certainly does not discriminate.

Once an intern for WBCN and a DJ during his time at Curry, Graham has seen countless bands perform, including Dead Meadow, Radiohead, Flying Lotus, Totimoshi, TV on the Radio and many more.
Whenever he can, Graham also loves travelling, as he makes it a point to see a new city or two every year. Ever the gentleman, Graham is also a connoisseur of the finest beers – various microbrews and hard to find local specialities.
Despite Graham’s fascinating background and job experience, if you ever bump in to him, ask him to clap with one hand. The man can do it.
But at the end of the day, Graham is proud of representing Grow Socially. ” I take pride in making our company known. I like making us known locally, but also in places where we want to be the best of the best.”
In today’s world of cheap imitations and stale idea recycling, we count ourselves lucky to have an original sitting in our midst.
Graham’s Fast Facts
Favorite Movie: The Empire Strikes Back
Favorite TV Show: Breaking Bad
Favorite iPhone App: Songza.fm
Favorite Food: Southern BBQ
If you could pick the next interlinkONE/Grow Socially company outing destination, it would be…
“The Flat Iron bar in Chicago, Illinois. It’s my favorite bar on the planet.”
